Geobag is an application of geotextile where in it is sewn to form pads or sacks and then filled with soil which is then used to replace conventional marine protection rocks or concrete.
Geobag is more stable hydraulically and geotechnically because this bag is heavier, and wider with high proportional ratio. It functions very well because it is stacked in the form of integrated units. It is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and normal erosion processes. This structure is porous and can withstand time thereby allowing plants to grow on it and thereby stabilizing the slopes permanently.
